    "SCHLACK"

  • DO YOU KNOW HOW SCHLACKY YOU ARE?

Have you ever wondered why it is always the same people who happen to be lucky? Maybe you are this person, maybe it's a friend of yours. They always know the right contact, get the best deal, succeed by being at the right place at the right time... It's not pure luck because luck, by definition, cannot be repetitive. So what is it? Is there a word for that? We call it "schlack"; it's a state of mind. Do you feel schlacky now? To be schlack aware makes people more positive, happier and even more successful in their daily lives. In order to increase people's schlackasticity, we have several projects in mind to take mobile and digital.

  • THE SCHLACK FACTORS

synchronicity: two or more events without any link, happening simultaneously and producing a common output.

serendipity: discovering something great that you were not looking for.

happenstance: coincidence of being at the right place at the right time.

  • BE SCHLACK AWARE

Inspired by comics onomatopoeias, it is an element of surprise; "SCHLACK!"

    -

You can't consciously schlack someone; people simply get schlacked.
    -

The more you look for a schlack, the less you will be schlacked.

    -

What is a schlack for you may not be a schlack for others.

    -

    schlack is natural and spontaneous.
    -

The more pessimistic, the less schlackable you are.

    -

Some cities are more schlackastic than others.

  • SCHLACKS ARE EVERYWHERE

  • MADE IN BERLIN

    CHEA

    from Schlackland

CHEA is born in Berlin, Germany in 2009 with Australian, English, Iranian, Sri Lankan, Danish, French, Libanese, American and Austrian origines. We first used the word "schlack" to punctuate the outcome of our last unlikely adventures of the moment. It is the frequency at which we mentioned it that made us realise our stituation and the state of mind around it. We continued using it for us since, until more and more people suggested that we should make it public. So we thought an official landing page and Facebook community could be a start. And there you are! We now each live in a different country and stay connected by the schlackiness of our lives. This page is part of it. We share one same goal; build a schlackier world. You can contribute. Send us your schlacky stories and follow our coming projects. Life is schlackastic! Spread the word around you!
